Lord and Burnham Web Splices are located at angular intersections of glazing bars (bar to bar) and end rafters (rafter to rafter) to connect these members at the eave, ridge, and other points where an angular joint is required. These points are indicated in the diagram below, by location number 1 thru 7.
For the model greenhouse being installed, read across to determine which splice plate is used at the numbered locations. Web splice plates are used in pairs - one each side of intersecting bars except at ends, where only one splice is used on the inner side of bar.
Typically two splices are needed to connect two glazing bars. Web splices come with the appropriate nuts and bolts.
