Manual Gear Operating CordsMay 20th, 2008 We are often asked if we sell the operating cord for a manual gear operator. People typically describe it as the rubber pulley cord that opens their greenhouse vent. These greenhouse vent rings are usually found in Lord and Burnham greenhouses. As the cord is pulled it turns the pulley in the manual gear operator and the greenhouse roof vent sash opens (or shuts). Usually after years of use they will eventually show wear and ultimately snap.
